Ma'ida 2010 Family Retreat: Enjoining & Enjoying The Sunnah of Prophet
Muhammad (SAWS) from Friday, May 7, 2010 to Sunday, May 9,
2010.
If you have
other plans for any day or time within this weekend, you can leave and return
as you would like with prior notice given to the UMMAA Administrator. (Notification is
necessary as a security precaution to monitor who is actually at the camp and who is not during our event).
Insha Allaah (SWT), this is going to be a
fantastic weekend to share with family and friends in an Islamic environment. There
are so many activities: Archery, Riflery, Skating, Cricket, Soccer, Fishing,
Campfires, Tetherball, Boating, Canoeing, Volleyball, Nature Hikes, Night
Training, Rock Wall Climbing, Basketball, Playground fun, Martial Arts,
Counsel Groups, Arts & Craft, Games, Geocaching, Re-Enactments,
Skits, Exotic classes, and more.
In addition to the free activities, there will
be Special Workshops and Clinics as follows: Massage Therapy, Toxic Analysis,
Foot & Hand Bath, Reflexology, Stress Management, Nutrition, Health &
Wellness, Pain Management & Reduction, Dealing With Problems, Heart Health,
Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Weight Management, Conflict Resolution, and more.
These special workshops & clinics each have a small
charge of $5 per person* to attend. Some may require you to bring certain items
to participate, so please state your personal interest in any of these
workshops and/or clinics at the time of registration or send us your selected
workshop / clinic interest request via email so that we can send you the
related detailed information. Also, low cost foot baths and massages available - prices vary depend on service and amount of time requested.
Semi-Private lodging with its own indoor bathroom & shower, great room & outdoor area for families and groups.
Also, same gender separate lodging for groups.
Lodges house large groups as well as individuals who want to be housed with one gender. It has its own kitchen, bathrooms and showers.

Step Two: Review the registration package. Complete, Sign and Return all forms along with the required deposit or payment made payable to: Sirat al Sayf International, MMA and make sure that you request a delivery confirmation when you mail all forms and your payment or deposit to:

* Second Date: Late Registration - 50% of total cost Must Be Received On or Before: April 30, 2010. Step Three: Be sure to return the acknowledgment that you have received your confirmation ticket number via Tel/Fax to: (718) 487-3536 or email to ummaa.international@gmail.com Remember in your acknowledgement you must include the last eight (6) digits of the card/account number used to pay, your mail delivery confirmation receipt number, and the date you mailed or submitted your forms. Note: If you submit your forms in person, please retain the receipt given to you at the time of your payment. Also, please be sure to correctly complete and return at the time of your payment and forms submission: a completed ID card with your name, address, telephone number, mobile number, email address, and emergency contact information and mail all to the attention of the UMMAA Administrator in order to obtain your lodging assignment. IMPORTANT: In our efforts to obey ALLAAH (SWT), proper Islamic Attire In Accordance To Qur'aan and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) must be maintained and is Required At All Time. Please see “Muslim Clothing Requirements” for additional information pertaining to the acceptable Islamic dress code. Any variation can be made to your own taste or preferred style as long as it conforms to the guideline stated and the clothing must never form-fitting, tight, it cannot be sheer or see-thru, and all required areas of the body, private parts, chest, head, neck must be appropriately covered and concealed as prescribed in accordance to the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Note for females: all scarves, headwear or head coverings must be able to fall/drape loosely and cover the entire breast/chest area without accentuating and it must cover the entire head including all hair, neck, ears, and earrings should not be visible. By complying, you guard your modesty and help our brothers towards obedience to ALLAAH (SWT). Also, sisters if make-up is worn, please be modest in its use so that the make-up does not intentionally draw attention to your beauty, nail polish (if worn) must be clear and absolutely no perfumes, oils or scented lotions are to be applied to your body, clothes or hair. Believing men and believing women Fear ALLAAH (SWT) and please be mindful of your duty by properly concealing your Aura at all times and always conduct yourselves in the best of manner in accordance to the Qur’aan and Sunnah, in Islam as Muslims, no matter how much fun you are having or whatever you are doing or may not be doing. We strive to gain the Pleasure of ALLAAH (SWT) by enjoining the good and forbidding the evil in all that we do. Activities like this serve also to remind the believer for by chance the reminder will benefit the believer.
Sina records: "I learned the essence of true love, that love which results in complete obedience." The love of ALLAAH (SWT) demands total and unconditional obedience. In the Qur’aan, ALLAAH (SWT), the Almighty says: Say [oh, Muhammad!]: "If you love ALLAAH (SWT), follow me: ALLAAH (SWT) will forgive you your sins, for ALLAAH (SWT) is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful" [Qur’aan, 3:31]
